Przy okazji Project Update #38, ResNova uraczyła nas garścią świeżych wieści z frontu. W większości były to informacje o statusie prac nad modelami i zasadami, ale jedna nowinka szczególnie przykuła moją uwagę. Do podręcznika zamówiono nowe ilustracje od niejakiego Petera Bergtinga. Jeżeli to nazwisko brzmi ci znajomo, to prawdopodobnie jesteś weteranem, albowiem to ten pan tworzył ilustracje do pierwszych podręczników Warzone i Mutant Chronicles, wydawanych jeszcze pod szyldem Target Games. To świetna decyzja ze strony ResNova i bardzo się cieszę, że Peter się zgodził na współpracę, bo jego prace doskonale oddawały klimat i charakter świata Kronik Mutantów, niezależnie od tego, czy to były minimalistyczne linearty, czy pełne kolorów grafiki dużego formatu. A jak zajrzycie na jego oficjalna stronę, to przekonacie się, że od czasów Target Games bardzo się rozwinął, eksperymentując z różnymi stylami. Mam dodatkowy powód by upolować podręcznik w wersji fizycznej.

On the occasion of Project Update #38, ResNova treated us to some fresh news from the front. Most of it was information about the status of work on models and rules, but one piece of news caught my attention in particular. New illustrations were ordered from a certain Peter Bergting. If this name sounds familiar to you, you are probably a veteran, because it was this man who created illustrations for the first Warzone and Mutant Chronicles rulebooks, published under the Target Games banner. This is a great decision on ResNova’s part and I am very glad that Peter agreed to cooperate, because his works perfectly reflected the atmosphere and character of the world of the Mutant Chronicles, regardless of whether they were minimalist linearts or large-format graphics full of colors. And if you visit his official website, you will see that he has developed a lot since Target Games, experimenting with different styles. I have an additional reason to hunt down the physical version of the rulebook.
